What employees and customers say about us

  • Muhammad Nouman

I cannot thank the team at Manpower UK enough for their incredible support during a very tough time in my career journey. They didn't just find me a job; they gave me hope when I needed it most. While the entire team—including Donna, Stephanie, and Tommy—was fantastic, a very special mention must go to Robert. He truly went above and beyond for me. Robert was always available to answer my questions, offer guidance, and check in whenever I needed it. His exceptional professionalism, empathy, and constant support made a world of difference. If you are looking for an agency that genuinely cares about people, I highly recommend Manpower UK!

I used Manpower a few years back when I was between jobs, I had absolutely no issues with them. Worked for various clients, either HGV2 or 7.5 ton. Wages paid on the dot every Friday, helpful staff, plenty work and accrued paid holidays. Excellent pay on some contracts, not so great on others, it's to be expected. I enjoyed the flexibility it gave me too. I could do family things and work my week round shifts. I got permanent employment through one of the clients, so I'm happy with that. Enjoyed my time at Manpower. Decent bunch of people.

FAQ

  • You can search and apply for jobs online through the Manpower website, or register your details to be contacted about suitable opportunities. Once registered, a Manpower consultant may get in touch to discuss roles that match your skills and preferences.

  • Pay frequency depends on the role, assignment, and client. Many temporary roles are paid weekly, while some contract or permanent roles may be paid monthly. Your Manpower consultant will confirm pay frequency, pay dates, and any timesheet requirements with you before you start your assignment.

  • You'll have a dedicated consultant at your local Manpower branch who will support you throughout your assignment. They’ll be your point of contact for assignment details, availability, pay queries, and any questions during your time on assignment. You can reach them by phone, email, or in person during branch opening hours. They can also help with CV advice, interview preparation, and upskilling.

  • For most temporary and contract assignments, you’ll be employed by Manpower, with Manpower managing payroll, compliance, and support. For permanent roles, you’ll usually be employed directly by the client once placed. Your consultant will clearly explain the arrangement before you start.

  • Not always. Some roles require specific skills or experience, while others are suitable for entry-level candidates or people returning to work. Your local Manpower consultant will help identify roles that match your background and career goals.

  • Timelines vary by role and location. Many temporary assignments, especially in driving, warehousing, and customer service, are filled within a few days or weeks of registration. Specialist or permanent roles can take longer, depending on availability and the interview process. Your local Manpower consultant will give you a realistic timeline based on your profile.
